Is an LTS LeaderBoard Franchise RIGHT for you?

Do you have a dream?

Everything begins with a dream! Everyone wants something -- money, status, happiness, a sense of belonging etc. and these desires are the fuel which drives the effort to achieve the dream.

Dreaming is active. Unlike "wishing", we can actually do something about a dream. After all, you don't "wish up" a plan -- you dream it up!

You may not get everything you dream of getting but two things are certain: (1) It doesn't take a single ounce of extra effort to dream big than it does to settle for the ordinary and (2) You've got a lot more to gain by shooting high than by shooting low.

Get a hold of your Dream and turn it into reality.

“What excites me most about LeaderBoard is the unlimited potential for growing my business and at the same time, helping charities raise more money for their organization."

- Mark Bronstein, Denver, CO, USA

Is life passing you by?

Entrepreneurs have a single minded purpose to achieve their goal of independence and when matched with the persistence to keep striving until they reach their destination, these traits become the forces which will provide success.

This compelling desire is often driven by work and lifestyle issues.

Have you ever thought about things like this:

  • My children are growing up so quickly and I want to spend more time being involved in their lives
  • I’m sick and tired of being downsized
  • I’m fed up with corporate politics, endless meetings, traveling 24+ weeks a year and being at the mercy of someone else’s agenda
  • I’ve had a successful career and have the resources to do something that I will absolutely enjoy doing on a daily basis
  • I want to do something that will give back to my community

"I was working for Microsoft as an Access database tester.  I was disenchanted.  Things were going in the wrong direction.  There were new kids coming out of school and I was feeling like a dinosaur.  I decided I had to make a switch rather than wind up saying” “Where have the last two years gone?” I wanted to be like the five percent of the people who love what they do.  My number one goal was not to make money.  It was to be happy doing something as a career."

- Jim Maes, Seattle, Washington, USA

Are you tired of sharing the rewards of your skills, experience and strong work ethic with your employer?

LTS LeaderBoard is a new and unique franchise opportunity. In fact, it is one of the fastest growing franchises in the golf industry. We are seeking pioneers to join our family.  We’re not looking for robots.  If you want to be confined to a totally structured business environment, there are thousands of Franchisors who will welcome you to their organizations.

We want “outside the box” thinkers and doers who are not afraid to take our toolbox of programs and systems, to use our proven marketing techniques and to add their energy and strong work ethic to build the business of their dreams. Now is the time to take over complete control of the financial rewards of your efforts and to work in an industry that you feel passionate about.

"What I love about the LeaderBoard franchise model is the flexibility for using my creative marketing talents to implement new revenue-generating ideas. And, when I run out of ideas, I can always implement some of the methods and ideas that have worked for my franchise partners. "

- Greg Busch, St. Louis, MO, USA

Do you want to buy a franchise or join a family?

LTS LeaderBoard will never be the largest Franchisor in terms of numbers.  Even when our Franchise Family is fully developed we will number approximately 400.

The members of our Family are selected very carefully.  Beyond the obvious basics of financial capability, sales and marketing experience and computer literacy, the selection is based on one's compatibility with the management team AND with existing members of the Family. We are looking for people that have the required skills, experience and sense of sharing that will serve to strengthen the Family group.

Our Family members are willing to share their successes and failures with all the other Family members in order that we may all learn from each others experiences. This strategy will help us continue to build the value of our individual businesses and our LTS LeaderBoard brand throughout the world.

"Since my partner and I have been able to meet the people of LeaderBoard, we are even more sure that we made the right choice.  It is a family that we have become a part of."

- Andy Bridge, National Capital Territory, USA

"The company’s management team proved to be equally innovative and dedicated to the success of everyone involved.  I’m excited to begin building a new company in the Seattle market and happy to be a new member of the LeaderBoard family ."

- Jim Maes, Seattle, WA, USA

Are you tired of being retired?

Things have changed since the days of our parents. Many successful business people are just not ready to "pack it in" at the age of 55 or higher. In fact, for many that is the time to realize those unfullfilled and elusive dreams that have been lost in the day to day drugery of making a living. Are you one of these people?

Did you know the number of Americans over 55 categorized as self-employed in non-agricultural industries has grown by 22 percent  in the last 5 years? In fact, these senior entrepreneurs now represent nearly 27 percent of all self-employed workers. Why not join the trend!!!

"I gave retirement an honest try, but in the end I had to admit that my heart just wasn't it. I was in good health, had a few dollars put away and had lots of spare energy. Then I stumbled into a business that was innovative and definitely filled a niche that revolved around the sport I enjoy. It has been an engaging and rewarding decision for me."

- Mike Becks, Orlando, FL, USA

Do you want to own a unique business?

We've already told you that we want "outside the box" thinkers and doers. But we haven't forgotten about the importance of an environment that is structured enough to provide the road map for you to follow to your destiny. Here are just a few things that you will want for your franchise business and which LTS LeaderBoard will deliver!!!

  • Acquire an exclusive territory
  • Create a home-based business
  • Benefit from a low entry cost
  • Do not carry inventory
  • Acquire the protection of proprietary products & services
  • Benefit from multiple revenue streams
  • Receive 24/7 support from head office
  • Stay in touch with email, a secure intranet, newsletters and a web site that will be customized to meet the needs of an individual franchisee
  • Participate in monthly telephone conference calls with all franchise partners
  • Enjoy a franchise family culture that promotes success and unity
  • Attend an annual convention where new products and services are unveiled and experiences in the field are shared

"The comprehensive training, tools and most importantly the great people we met that are part of the LTS LeaderBoard family have reinforced my conclusion that we have made a good decision. Instead of a "paint by numbers" boxed kit, LTS LeaderBoard has clearly provided us with a set of tools that we can employ in a variety of ways to create a business that reflects our personalities and interest within the framework of a solid business comcept."

- Robert Smith, Coachella Valley South, CA, USA

"LeaderBoard has the unique ability to take the whole experience to a much more enjoyable and rewarding level for everyone involved.  Being able to bring this to the sport I have come to love and to give back to the community at large is a true blessing."

- Doug Kendall, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Do you want to "Give Back" to your community?

LTS LeaderBoard Franchise Partners have provided the knowledge and tools needed to enable charities and fundraisers to greatly increase the amount of money raised at their events and to pay the franchise owner's fee for services rendered. All of this money stays right in the community where it was donated.

Many LTS LeaderBoard Franchise Partners have said that the opportunity to support local charities is one of the main reasons they chose the LeaderBoard franchise and is often the most satisfying part of their business.

“Other major goals we identified as we moved along the decision process were that it provides an exciting ground floor opportunity from an investor prospective, the opportunity to “make a difference” in raising funds for various charities and having "Fun" while growing a business.

- Michael Becks, Orlando, FL, USA

“The opportunity to start a business in the golf industry that positively impacts charitable organizations is exciting.  With the support of a solid network of franchises across the country and the great team at home office, we will have nothing but success."

- Rob Frnka, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Do you like the "marketing and people" part, but are a bit nervous about the "computer" part?

The quick answer is "don't be!". Our training and support is provided by people that have spent years in the field and who understand golf, business and marketing. These same people help to design new automated tools that are easy to use. And of course support is absolutely top-notch. We are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. A franchise owner is never alone at an event.

"I heard all about the great support provided by LeaderBoard personnel, but was always skeptical.... until my first event. I spent lots of time on the phone before and even during that event. I got fantastic and easy-to-understand help. Hey, even the computer geeks spoke in plain English and had simple solutions to what I thought were complex problems. Even though they are 2,500 miles away, they respond as if they are with me at an event. "

- Neil Policow, Boston, MA , USA

Do you have a success attitude?

Your attitude - good or bad, positive or negative - has an impact on all areas of your life. One's attitude is reflected in his/her actions. Attitude is the foundation on which one's success is based.

Attitudes are developed over time and can be changed and modified if necessary. A positive attitude will help you deal with any problem or obstacle.

A franchise is basically a very personal relationship between franchisor, franchisees, suppliers, partners, advisors and customers and the right attitude will ensure that you are able to deal with all in a positive and successful manner.

We at LeaderBoard are looking for franchise partners with the right attitude. Do you have the right attitude? Let's talk about it!!

"Everyone I run into can see it in my face. I'm not as stressed as I was. I never went well with the pressure to do more. Now I'm much more relaxed. It's fun. It's a great job."

- Doug Kendall, Los Angeles, CA, USA

"I’ve got a wonderful job… it’s the best job I’ve ever had.  It’s fun doing something that can really make a difference.  Going into this I thought it was strictly a golf business.  The non-golf market is probably much bigger than the tournament market.  There’s no limit on how big LeaderBoard can get."

- Rob Frnka, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA

"So I asked: Why can I not do this?  It was now or never, and Elena supported me:  Let’s do it! I had a well-paid corporate job.  I left not because I wasn’t well paid, not because I had a boring job, not because I wanted to be my own boss.  It was not because of all that.  In this job, I’m going to have a better life.  It is not all about money.  It’s also what you like to do.  If I could make $2 million and be stressed out, I would not like it.  Right now, I’m starting to feel like LeaderBoard is part of me.  I am now proud of putting the LeaderBoard logo on my shirt."

- Ignacio Cruz and Elena Torres, Madrid, Spain

Self Analysis and Evaluation

All considerations about buying a franchise must begin with a thorough and honest self analysis of your strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes.  Talk to your family and friends to validate your assessment.

The primary consideration should be to gain an understanding of what type of business you will enjoy doing for the next 10 to 15 years;  something that you have a passion for and which will make you charge out of bed each morning eager to face the day and build your business. You should not consider buying a franchise just because you think you will make a lot of money. If you love what you do, the money will take care of itself.

What is your business, employment or professional experience?  In which areas of your work life do you excel and more importantly,  really enjoy?  Do you like people and interacting with new faces on a daily basis?

Have you been employed in a corporate position where you managed people but had access to the Accounting Department for money issues, the Human Resources Department for people issues etc.?  Are you willing and prepared to wear all of these hats at the beginning of owning your own business?  Do you understand that you might be working long hours in the early months?  In short, how strong is your desire to own your own business and be your own boss?

Make sure you that you talk with your family about your desires and goals and that you have their complete agreement and support for this new venture.

"Right from the beginning the people at LeaderBoard involved my wife in conversations about purchasing the franchise. They took great care to explain and discuss the committment we were making. Those discussions put franchise business on a solid footing, my wife and I haven't looked back."

- Rob Frnka, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Are you aware of the advantages of investing in a "ground floor" franchise business?

We've all heard of McDonalds and Subway. The people that really prospered with these businesses were the pioneer franchise owners. Their start-up costs were relatively low and the financial gains high as the franchise brand became better recognized in subsequent years. Here is a summary of some of the advantages of investing in this exciting "ground floor" franchise business.

  • Vast growth potential with prime territories still available
  • Personal attention -- the qualified staff at head office has a lot riding on the success of every franchise and quite frankly it shows in the quality of support that is provided
  • Direct access to the founders -- once again all part of the "family" atmosphere where the original and undiluted vision is clearly and directly communicated by the inventors
  • Lower ad contributions -- in the early stages advertising is focused on local markets and not on expensive national campaigns that are ultimately funded by franchise owners
  • Greater flexibility and speed -- because we're not a large and entrenched franchise business, we can easily seize new opportunities that make good business sense but which require fast action
  • Less bureaucracy -- a franchise owner is only a phone call away from the president and vice-presidents. How many "big franchise" owners can say that?
  • Greater voice -- as a LeaderBoard franchise owner, your opinion is highly valued; much more than would be the case if you were a small cog in the big wheel of one of the major players
  • With LeaderBoard, it is the people and their personalities (not the system) that defines the entity

"After reviewing many potential franchise opportunities, LeaderBoard presented as the first opportunity that finally make economic sense.  The necessary financial investment is quite affordable and when compared to the potential future income flows, could be considered the best franchise on the market."

- Steve Weisman, CPA, Rockville, Maryland, USA

"What drew me to LeaderBoard was the growth potential. I could have spent a lot more money on a more established franchise, but the up-side for those businesses was just not there."

- Matt Schuman, Chicago, IL, USA

"A visit to Tampa sealed it. Before that, we still didn't get it. Until you see it, you don't. When we saw LeaderBoard in action in Tampa, we looked at each other and said, "Got it". Just a month after training, we had three tournaments booked and two more likely. Today, I have 2 words for the man who fired me ... "Thank You"."

- Andy Bridge, Rockville, Maryland, USA

Do you have what it takes to be a successful franchisee?

Successful franchisees have common attributes regardless of the type of business. Our management team has an extensive and proven track record in the franchise business. We know what works and what doesn't work.

A successful franchisee will typically:

  • Make long term commitments – 10 plus years
  • Have carefully assessed their strengths and weaknesses and have applied this knowledge to their selection of a franchise opportunity
  • Have carefully assessed their financial situation and have applied this knowledge to their selection of a franchise opportunity
  • Have a financial contingency plan in the event the business takes longer than planned to reach a positive cash flow
  • Have discussed their desires and plans with all members of their family and determined that the family is supportive of these plans
  • Are determined to make their business work even when times get difficult
  • Have chosen a franchise in which they have a considerable interest and a business in which they can be passionate each and every day
  • Are prepared to learn the new skills and methods that have proven to lead to success
  • Share experiences with the franchise family

When asked about his decision to expand and become LeaderBoard’s first Franchise Partner with more than one territory, Frnka was asked if the feedback from his clients was part of the reason he decided to expand.  It absolutely did.  The best feedback is when you’re at a tournament and people come up and thank you for making their event better.  Our business continues to grow through word of mouth and referrals from our satisfied clients.  We have established some great relationships with tournament organizers, golf courses and charities.  LeaderBoard is quickly becoming the go-to resource for tournaments and special events in the Metroplex"

- Rob Frnka, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA

"If you look, you can find hundreds of businesses to get into that deal with golf.  As we looked and did our research, no other opportunity was stronger than LeaderBoard.  The idea is fresh, the need is great and the fun of running a golf business is there."

- Andy Bridge, Rockville, Maryland, USA
